Knights of Columbus

Who We Are …

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal organization which is open to men of the Catholic Faith who are 18 years or older.  The order, which began in March of 1882 was founded by Father Michael J. McGivney and still stands by its principles or Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.  Our council here at St. Anthony is Father James F. O’Dea Council 13459 which began in 2003 and meets in the Parish Center, with a Business Meeting the first Sunday of each month at 6:00 P.M.  as well as a social meeting on the third Sunday of each month also at 6:00 P.M.

We have a great group of men who consider each other their brothers.
We do a lot of fundraising by holding certain events throughout the year and assist the parish in other ways.
All money raised always goes towards individuals or organizations who are in need assistance.  We are always seeking ways of building up our council.
A member does NOT have to attend all the meetings.
We ask that you try to attend whenever possible.

If you would be interested in joining the Knights of Columbus here at St. Anthony, please contact Grand Knight Bob Schepis at byschepis@yahoo.com or 203-729-0758.
